Whispering Winds Motel

My mother and I stayed at this motel while in the area to visit family. It was a great experience all around. It appears that the rooms have been recently renovated, they look pretty and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms and some furniture were a little dated, but all were clean and functional. The location is perfect for getting to Skaneateles, Auburn, or even Syracuse. It was Labor Day weekend, so it was a little busy, but not loud or disruptive. The pool was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely stay again if in the area.

This was in a perfect location for us, just a couple minute drive to the heart of town, yet quiet and cozy. The wood planked room was comfortable and the basics were all there. It's not the Ritz but for the money and an overnight stay it was good and clean.

If you are used to luxury, this ain't the place for you. If you want clean, quaint nostalgia, bingo! We stayed here for a quick overnight before a super early soccer tournament at nearby Everest Park. This place was the closest we could find, meaning a few more minutes to sleep in the morning, and it was very inexpensive. We literally just needed a place to brush our teeth and beds to sleep in. Did not expect much, but this place was neat as a pin, had way more accommodations than we expected (in room coffee maker, microwave, fridge). The beds were very basic with hard mattresses, but it just so happens, that is how we like them. Pillows were comfy. Loved that every room had a carport right outside with it's own outdoor table. Never explored the pool area or gazebo. The folks that greeted us when we arrived were very nice and easy going.

Charming and cute yet unpretentious. Great location. If you like old fashioned or antique atmosphere, this is for you. We had a great time. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Be sure to check out Rosalie's Cucina for dinner and At Long Last for breakfast/lunch. Both are excellent. Many lakes and wineries nearby as well.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The owners were really nice and accommodating, they made sure to cater to my every need. The room was clean and parking was very convenient because it was right next to my room, this made me feel that I had a lot of privacy. My trip was amazing and I will definitely come back here next time I visit.

Our family spent two days at the motel. The manager and his family went out of his way to accommodate our family, especially at the pool. They even brought out ice cream for our little ones! Overall an extremely pleasant stay and perfect for a family summer vacation.

The owners are extremely accommodating. We had an employee from out of state stay here and we ran into a problem with our credit card, our corporate office declined the charge by mistake. I called the motel and the owner said I trust you will take care of this and let our tech stay without any embarrassing or inconvenient issues like sleeping in his truck. He got a room and stayed the night. I'm the morning I called to make sure he was paid and everything was good. Outstanding service and kind person. You don't see that in today's world. We had a great stay at the motel. Owner’s were so nice and helpful. They made themselves available. The rooms were clean and came with nice amenities. It’s an older place. Not a hotel, so if that is what you are looking for it might not be your choice. But again, it fit our needs.
